The company has officially launched the VM441 All-in-One (AiO) in India, a machine that marks a significant departure from the traditional x86-based desktops that have dominated the category for decades. By integrating the Qualcomm Snapdragon X platform into a stationary form factor, Asus is betting that the promise of sustained AI performance and energy efficiency will entice users away from traditional tower-and-monitor setups.
The VM441 is positioned as a Copilot+ PC, a designation that requires specific hardware thresholds set by Microsoft. At the heart of this machine is the Snapdragon X processor, which leverages a dedicated Hexagon Neural Processing Unit (NPU). According to Asus, this NPU is capable of delivering up to 45 trillion operations per second (TOPS), positioning the VM441 to handle local AI tasks—such as real-time translation, advanced image generation, and sophisticated system automation—without relying entirely on the cloud.
Hardware Integration and Design
Visually, the VM441 adheres to a clean, minimalist aesthetic, arriving exclusively in a White finish. It centers around a 24-inch display, a size that strikes a balance between workspace utility and desk footprint.
