The leak, first spotted by Mashable and documented via screenshots by Notebookcheck, suggests a significant shift in silicon for Microsoft’s enterprise-focused machines. The device in question is sporting a high-end Intel Core Ultra X7 368H chip, paired with Arc B390 graphics and 32GB of RAM. This puts the machine squarely in the “Panther Lake” era of Intel architecture, which aims to refine the efficiency and AI processing capabilities introduced in the previous Lunar Lake and Meteor Lake generations.
Measuring Against the Competition
The raw numbers from the leak indicate a device designed for heavy multi-tasking rather than simple administrative work. According to the screenshots, the X7 368H performs on par with the slightly lower-tier Core Ultra X7 358H and holds its own against the M5 MacBook Air in multi-core workloads, such as high-resolution video rendering and complex data processing. This suggests Microsoft is doubling down on a high-performance ceiling for its professional tier, ensuring that the “for Business” moniker isn’t just a licensing distinction, but a hardware one.
