    For context, most current-generation “AI PCs”—including those utilizing Intel Core Ultra or AMD Ryzen 8000 series chips—typically hover between 10 and 45 TOPS at the NPU level.     Bridging the Gap Between Mobile and Desktop

    The shift to the Snapdragon X2 Elite is more than just a spec bump; it is an architectural gamble.     With the Snapdragon X2 Elite, Asus isn’t just selling a smaller computer; they are selling a dedicated AI appliance. If the performance gains in local AI workloads translate to real-world productivity, the QN10 could signal a permanent shift in how mini-PCs are engineered, moving away from “cheap and capable” toward “specialized and powerful.”
