This strategic pivot would allow Apple to maintain a news cycle throughout the year and potentially mitigate the impact of component shortages, particularly regarding memory and OLED panels, which have plagued previous production ramps.
The Foldable Variable: iPhone Ultra
The most disruptive element of the 2026 roadmap is the long-anticipated entry of Apple into the foldable market.
