    The defining characteristic of this range is the integration of Google TV 5.0. While many budget brands rely on stripped-down versions of Android TV or proprietary launchers that are plagued by bloatware, the shift to the 5.0 iteration suggests a more streamlined, content-first interface. This OS version prioritizes AI-driven recommendations and a unified search experience, bridging the gap between high-end smart TVs and budget hardware.

    The inclusion of the full Google ecosystem—including built-in Chromecast and Google Assistant—allows these sets to compete with more established players like Xiaomi and Realme, who have long dominated the “value-for-money” sector in India. Instead, Thomson is offering a “lite” version of the technology—essentially providing a visual bump over basic LEDs while keeping the cost accessible.
